What to Expect in This Role?
As part of the Pharmacovigilance and MICC team, you will play an essential role in safeguarding public health by monitoring the safety of medications. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Expertise in Literature Case Processing and Adverse Event Reporting
You’ll be tasked with ensuring that adverse events are identified, processed, and reported accurately and efficiently. Your expertise in drug safety regulations will help you handle these responsibilities with ease. - In-depth Knowledge of MICC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
As part of your role, you’ll be managing inbound and outbound communication related to medical information. This includes providing healthcare professionals and patients with accurate and timely responses based on standardized information from MICC SOPs. - Drug Safety Regulation Expertise
Staying updated on drug safety regulations is critical. You’ll ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, making sure that no adverse event goes unreported. - Excellent Communication Skills
You’ll interact with both internal and external stakeholders, so strong communication skills are key. You’ll be answering queries via calls, emails, and other channels, while adhering to best practices in call management.
Qualifications and Skills You’ll Need
To be eligible for this exciting role, you must have a strong educational background in the life sciences. We’re looking for candidates with:
- B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, or BDS degrees.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a related field.
Besides academic qualifications, you’ll also need:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and adverse event reporting.
- Familiarity with MICC SOPs and drug safety regulations.
- Proficiency in communication skills, both written and oral, as you’ll be interacting with healthcare professionals, patients, and regulatory bodies.
